- PillLedge is operated by Omniaiverse Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “our”, “us”).

2) What data we collect
- A) Account & access data (if login is enabled): name, phone/email, role, login tokens.
- B) Billing data: invoice number, items sold, quantities, prices, taxes, timestamps.
- C) Optional customer data (only if you choose to store it): customer name/phone. (Avoid storing more.)
- D) Inventory data: stock, purchase/sell prices, GST rates, supplier names (if entered).
- E) Device/usage data: IP address, browser type, basic logs for security and troubleshooting.
- F) Support messages: the content you send to us for help/bug reports.
- Important: Do NOT store patient diagnosis, prescription images, Aadhaar/PAN, bank details, or highly sensitive personal data inside this tool unless you have a lawful need and consent. If you do, you do so at your own risk.
3) How we use data
- To generate invoices, calculate GST totals, and manage inventory stock.
- To authenticate users (if enabled) and prevent unauthorized access.
- To prevent fraud, detect abuse, and maintain security logs.
- To provide customer support and improve product reliability.
- To comply with lawful requests and applicable regulations (when required).
4) Legal basis & compliance (India)
- We aim to align with applicable Indian data protection requirements (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 where applicable).
- In most cases, we process data to provide the service you request (billing/inventory) and to meet legitimate security needs.
- If you store personal data of your customers/patients, you are responsible for having the required consent/notices and lawful purpose.
5) Data storage & security
- We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards (access controls, encryption where feasible, backups where configured).
- No system is 100% secure. You agree that you use the service at your own risk.
- You should enforce strong passwords, limit staff access, and avoid shared accounts.
- If you print invoices, paper copies can be lost—handle them responsibly.
6) Sharing & third parties
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We may share data only with trusted service providers that help run the system (hosting, database, email delivery, error logging), under confidentiality obligations.
- We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect rights/safety.
- If you integrate external payment, WhatsApp, SMS, email, or analytics tools, their privacy policies apply too.
7) Cookies & analytics
- We may use cookies/local storage for login sessions, preferences (like language), and basic functionality.
- We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand usage and improve performance.
- You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the tool may not work correctly.
8) Data retention
- We keep data only as long as needed for billing records, operations, support, and legal compliance.
- You (or your organization) should define your retention policy for invoices, inventory records, and customer contact data.
- If you request deletion, we will delete data where feasible, except where we must keep records for legal obligations.
9) Your rights & choices
- You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data (where applicable).
- If you are a business using this tool, you are responsible for handling your customers’ requests relating to data you store.
- To request changes, email us with your business name, the relevant invoice/record IDs, and what you want changed.
10) Children’s privacy
- This tool is intended for business/clinic/pharmacy operations, not for children.
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child’s data was stored, contact us for removal.
11) International transfers
- If our hosting or service providers are located outside your state/country, data may be processed on servers in other regions.
- We take reasonable steps to ensure protection when such transfers occur.
12) Disclaimers & limitation
- PillLedge is a billing/inventory tool. It is NOT medical advice, NOT a diagnostic system, and NOT a regulated medical device.
- You are responsible for accurate billing, GST classification, and compliance with pharmacy/clinic regulations.
- We are not liable for losses caused by incorrect data entry, misuse, unauthorized access due to weak security practices, outages, printer errors, or third-party services.
- If you need strict compliance (e.g., HIPAA-like handling), do not store sensitive medical records here unless you have a customized compliance setup.
13) Changes to this policy
- We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
- We will update the Effective Date at the top when changes are made.
- Continued use of the tool after changes means you accept the updated policy.
